Alongside our Sunday teaching series, you’ll find a daily reading plan to help us journey through the Psalms together. This isn’t about ticking every box or feeling guilty if you miss a day — it’s about seeing each reading as a fresh invitation from God to draw near. In the words of Psalm 1, we are invited to “delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.” Each psalm you read is another chance to hear God’s voice, respond in prayer, and be shaped by his truth — whether you’ve read every day that week or are just jumping back in today.
Can I commend two further ways to engage creatively with the Psalms…
My friend Dan Millest has started putting the Psalms to music in a contemporary ‘Lofi’ style. As the Psalms are ‘songs’, you might find that a helpful way to engage. There is a playlist of 13 (and counting!) on his Youtube channel.

They might pop up in the study guides if they correlate to the week’s teaching…

Secondly, the contemporary Christian poet Malcolm Guite began during the pandemic an epic project to write a poem for each Psalm, which fit together… the last line of one being the first of the next… check out his blog for Poems and meditations on the ones he’s done so far…
A great little lecture he’s done on the Psalms is available via the linked video above, I pinched a Lewis quote from this!
And there is a book now they are complete!
